AdaptAbilities is a registered charitable organization dedicated to providing a variety of goal-directed respite programs for children and adults with special needs. AdaptAbilities has two options for respite care:

Meadowlark Centre (8721-163 Street, West End)
McKernan Centre (11226-75 Ave, University Area) 

We have some great activities lined up for the Out-of-School Care Program, such as scavenger hunts, cooking, and music!

As well, the planned outings for the upcoming Saturdays are sure to provide fun for the participants and much needed respite for parents!  Saturday respite hours for both centres are 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

December 17, 2011 - Toboganning (Emily Murphy and Meadowlark Parks)
December 24, 2011 - Christmas Party at the centre
December 31, 2011 - New Year's Eve Party (Movie & Pizza @ Centre)*
January 7 and 14, 2012 - Both Respite Centres will be closed
January 21, 2012 - Ice on Whyte
January 28, 2012 - Tim Horton's Hot Chocolate & Doughnut

* Please Note: due to the holidays the centres will close at 3:00 PM on December 24 and 31, 2011
 

AdaptAbilities will cover transportation and entrance fees. Our Drop-In Fee remains at ONLY $5.00.  Space is limited!
