Director's Message

Thank you for your interest in the Alberta AdaptAbilities Association.

We are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing a variety of programs where children with special needs can grow, succeed and belong.

Our whole focus is on each individual child. We are passionate about helping each child develop abilities, achieve success and create a positive self-image through a structured learning environment.

For almost a decade AdaptAbilities has been a leader in offering comprehensive programs that adapt to a child’s unique needs so they can grow socially, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Through our goal-directed approach, each program is designed to enhance children’s recreation and motor skills, essential life skills and creativity.

The key to much of the children’s success in our programs is that we work in small group settings.

Whether you are a parent looking for out of school care provided by someone who understands your child’s special need; a social worker helping a family find quality care at one of our new Respite Centres; or a teacher referring students to our Hearts in Action camps, I encourage you to browse through our website for information about all of our programs and services.
