Motor Program Options

Games for Understanding
This program focuses on increasing your child’s motor development and understanding of game principles through successful sport experiences. Games are adapted and then graded to allow your child to succeed while learning the rules and concepts of various sports. Key concepts are isolated and then built upon so your child is able to successfully participate in various games in a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment.

Music and Movement
This program facilitates your child’s ability to express him or her self while providing an opportunity for physical exercise and an outlet for emotions, ideas and energy. Children will pair physical movements and dances with a variety of modern and conventional genres of music. Children will also be given opportunities to discuss and evaluate the characteristics and benefits of a variety of music in order to choose genres and artists that are best suited to their individual expressive styles.
